Housing growth in the UK is still rising significantly with a Construction PMI reading of 62.6 in June and with the housing activity still improving at 66.6, the second highest monthly increase over a four-year period. The Halifax index showed an 8.8% year-on-year increase in house prices with a small decrease of -0.6% in terms of month-on-month movement.
